Custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies and engineering support equipment:

Complex, multifunctional / multilayered assemblies

  • Braided EMI/RFI shielded assemblies for power, control, and hybrid applications. Capable of meeting your toughest EMI protection requirements. 90% plus EMI coverage can be achieved utilizing machine braded techniques with the highest quality of workmanship and materials in the industry to date.

Hermetically sealed and over-molded assemblies

  • Environmental and Abrasive resistant assemblies can withstand the harshest environments and applications. Our over-mold and environment protection capabilities include but are not limited to Viton, polyurethane, polyamide, EPDM etc. Material can be applied via Injection mold or manual potting based on program needs. We offer quick turnaround times for specialized mold applications and mold tool procurement.

Coax & RF assemblies

  • End to end Ridged and simi-ridged coax assemblies using industry standard connectors and cable types.
Complex coax cable assemblies with multi shield, multi conductor layouts and multi point connector terminations. Familiar with all circular, rectangular and hybrid power and control connectors / wire.

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio Testing, (VSWR) is a low-less line’s max to min voltage ratio. This test helps measure radio frequency loss in RF cable assemblies and coaxial cables. The perfect ratio is 1:1, and a completely mismatched ratio, i.e., for an open or short circuit, is ∞:1.

Spacetronics utilizes VSWR testing to verify the sound performance of RF/coaxial cable assemblies, as defects are difficult to isolate once a product is assembled.
